The Systems Work Group presents Systems in Action: Bursar Integration, Privacy Audit, and Real-Time Reporting. Join the Systems Work Group for lightning talks on next-step systems projects. Jeff Karlsen (Sacramento City College) will talk about how his district integrated library fees with PeopleSoft financials. Michele Alaníz (City College of San Francisco) will discuss a privacy audit framework. And Jay Hartzell (MiraCosta College) will share how he uses the low-code tool Power Automate to meet urgent needs in his library

The LSP Systems Work Group present findings of a survey about library inventory practices across our LSP consortium and share information about options for conducting a library inventory in Alma. They cover use of the Alma shelf reading tool and job, as well as a Cloud App to support post-inventory cleanup work, and provide information about Alma API options that support library inventory activities. A presentation of one systems practice, two systems projects, and an overview of how to get support from the LSP Systems Work Group. From the sand to the clouds–systems practice and projects include accessing LSP sandboxes, configuring user statistical groups, and an example of using Cloud Apps to load a set of users in batch. Additionally, introduction of the new LSP systems work group support form, and provide an overview of our group’s charge and goals.
